Evolution borrows Christian Dogma
If evolution is the path through which life, and indeed human life, resides on this planet than there are many problems with how humanity is treated.
Evolution teaches that man is nothing more than an animal. It resides at the top of the food chain simply because it has become intelligent by means of natural selection. Evolutionists believe that man is a product of the earth, and a product of the universe, that there is nothing inherently majestic or special about human beings in the cosmos.
If man is no different that the animals, than his access to the resources of the planet should be no more restricted than an ant, or a duck. As the animals all have equal access to the resources of the planet, than man being nothing more than an animal should also have the same access without restrictions. There is no evolutionary reason for man to not build whatever he wishes where ever he wishes anytime he wishes. No reason for an animal to restrict its use of the resources of the planet that spawned its very existence.
Environmentalists want man to be restricted from using some resources because it "harms" the environment. That is not logical, because if man was made from the same materials as the earth was made, than by not allowing him free use of all the resources is the same as genocide, and has potential to lead to extinction of the species. In theory the planet spawned all life spontaneously, than all life can be said to be a product of the planet, and human use of the planet is no different than a plant using decayed waste as a nutrition source. So where did the idea come from that man is the master of the planet and needs to care for the environment?
The idea that man is higher than the animals, and that he needs to subdue the planet and be its steward comes from the Bible. Many environmentalist and atheists are borrowing from Christianity to make their claim. The only possible reason for man to be restricted from complete access to Earth in its entirety is because the Bible teaches that man was made higher than all other animals and was commanded to rule over the whole planet and cultivate it.
So there is absolutely zero evolutionary reason for man to not:
Drill oil in the Gulf of Mexico
Cut down forests
Build in wetland areas
Burn coal and fill the skies with smoke
Ignore a minor temperature change
Create chemicals that kill insects
Put animals in cages
Use animals for experimental purposes
Drive massive vehicles
Create antibiotics that kill pathogens
Have intercourse with animals
Fish, hunt, or destroy other species, even to the point of extinction
Clone, or genetically modify any life form
Enslave other races, genders, species
No evolutionary reason at all!
The only argument that man should not do these things is because the earth was created perfect and man was put in charge of taking care of the planet by the Creator of the planet. Your welcome!

Ignorance does NOT trump expertise
Most people feel it is wise to never offer an opinion on a subject in which you personally have no experience. In health care matters, one does not ask the opinion of a cashier; in matters of law enforcement, one asks a lawyer or police officer, not the paper boy. We understand that when we know nothing about a certain subject, we cannot offer an expert opinion.
Would you go up to a brain surgeon, as a layman, and tell him I don't think your theory on neural ganglia is correct? I have never spent an hour studying neural networks, but I feel that I am sufficiently educated on the subject to offer my negative opinion.
Or would you say to a rocket scientist, that he/she really shouldn't have to account for the gravitational field of the sun when sending a rocket to the moon, because they are on the opposite sides of the planet? Do you feel that your opinion is valuable?
Or would you point out to a concert pianist that they really don't need to worry about rhythm or cadence, because that is the job of the conductor or percussionist.
Or would you walk into a gun shop and tell the gunsmith that is shouldn't be necessary to clean a weapon after firing a few hundred rounds through it, even though you have never shot, nor even owned a firearm?
And yet....
Atheist and agnostics feel completely comfortable in their ignorance of religion to claim that there is no God, and to claim they understand the Bible; even though they have never read a single word it contains nor spent any time becoming an expert in Biblical Studies.
Why do you feel it is perfectly acceptable to impinge your ignorance of the spiritual realm to someone who has spent decades studying the Bible, and can explain to you nuances of spirituality that you have never experienced?
Why is it perfectly acceptable for you to judge an expert in an area from a position of complete ignorance of the subject, simply because it is in the area of spirituality? Why is it that you think that, because you know absolutely nothing about the Bible, you can impugn an expert.
How many decades have you spent reading the written Word? How many years have you spent doing comparative studies between multiple translations and outside literature? How many hours have you spent searching for the nuances between passages? When did you become a Biblical Scholar? What I see is an ignorant Neophyte and your opinion on the value of the Scriptures is less than worthless.
Why do you feel it is perfectly okay to tell people that the Bible may contain the truth, when you have never read a single word in the Bible, and have no idea what truth it may contain? I find it simply amazing that you feel your utter lack of research qualifies you to dispute the validity of a subject you have spent no time contemplating.
Why do you think that ignorance trumps expertise?
Try that line of reasoning with any other area of study, and see how far you get.

Tis the Season
Once again the season of whining is upon us. That wonderful time of year when the atheists feel the need to force their morality on the entire nation. By suing every city, town or village board if there is even a hint of a mention of Jesus Christ at Christmas. It has gotten to be so bad that I have a couple of ideas on how to make them stop whining and stop winning. It is usually just the threat of legal action against a city that puts fear into the legislators and they remove all signs of Christmas on public lands.
So, how do we fight this, and why have we continued to allow our religious liberties to be incrementally taken away from us? Here are a couple of ways to fight back.
The next time someone says you cannot say "Merry Christmas," just show them a copy of the Constitution, pointing them to the 1st Amendment, remind them just where you get your right to say "Merry Christmas!" Then hand them the Constitution, and ask them to find where it says they have a right to NOT be offended. Give them lots of time. Point out again the 1st Amendment and your right to wish them a "Merry Christmas!" When they give up, simply remind them that they have the right to not accept the greeting, but you still have the right to give it.
They can act all high and mighty, but no where does the Constitution give anyone the right to NOT be offended. If they wish to have their religious (or non-religious) beliefs upheld, then they cannot restrict anyone's rights. They always complain that the public parks cannot be used by Christians to display creches (or any depiction of the birth of Jesus), and yet they seem to forget that Christians also pay taxes. And with the payment of taxes comes equal access for all. If they want to restrict our access, then they must also accept their own access be restricted. It is only fair that everyone be treated equally when it comes to access to public property.
No more Halloween displays, no more solstice displays, no more celebratory displays of any kind at any time of the year. While they feel it is perfectly acceptable to accept the Christians money in taxes, they have to realize it not acceptable to restrict their use of the facilities that everyone's taxes contribute to. The whole idea that somehow certain populations/ethnic groups/religious sects do not contribute to the public sector is ridiculous. Obama made famous, " If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen... Somebody invested in roads and bridges." Well guess what the Christians invested just as much as the arrogant atheists did. So why do they get the idea that we are not allowed to use them the same as everyone else?
The atheists are also very fond of claiming that this country was NOT built on Christian principles, but if that is the case, then how do atheist explain the engravings on all the monuments around the country. Please explain to me, how did so many of our buildings in Washington DC get bible verses etched into them? How did the Ten Commandments get immortalized on the granite face of the Supreme Court? How did the motto "In God we Trust" get engraved in our coinage and paper money? How did this happen? Did these words just appear out of thin air? Was it magic? Did some rogue criminal element tag all the monuments with Bible references without governmental authority? I am totally baffled how all the biblical references could have been immortalized in a "non-Christian" nation.
It doesn't matter whether a smaller percentage of the population is Christian or not, we still outnumber the atheists, so why do we let them get away with this? Their unbelief does NOT invalidate our beliefs. Their lack of faith does NOT negate my faith. They do NOT have the high moral ground by denying all morality. It is about time we let them know, that if they continue to restrict our access to our 1st Amendment freedom, then their access must be equally restricted. The street goes both directions, and yes, as a matter of fact, concerning the roads, WE DID BUILD THAT!
