Who are you?

I have just spent the better part of the last hour finding out who my representatives are. Let me tell you, it is not easy. All I want to know is who says they speak for me and what they are saying. So far I have been able to find out my state and federal legislators, their information is easy to find; the local representatives are much harder to find. Okay so now that I know who you all are, how are you performing at your job? This is the hard part and I have yet to find out what is going on at the local level. Do they make it this hard on purpose? I am beginning to wonder, does anyone in the political arena really want us the voters to really know what is going on? I think the answer to that may be "NO", they would love to see us completely in the dark as long as we keep sending them our tax dollars and keep putting them back into their offices. I have an idea of what is going on, but only because I keep getting the "pat myself on the back" letters from them, telling me what bills they have sponsored and what they want us to know about. But being a conscientious citizen, I am no longer satisfied with those "see how I great I am" letters; I want to know what is really going on behind those closed doors. I want a REAL job assessment. Send me a list of all the legislation that has crossed your desk, and let me know how you reacted to it, and then what actions you took on each and every bill. Is that too much to ask?Apparently!!!!!
