So a pastor wants to burn the Koran to prove a point, to calm down the extremist Muslims. If the news media were really concerned about the troops' safety, they would just drop the story and make it a non-story. But no, they are accomplices in fanning the flames of violence--the hypocrites! That being said, let's consider the issue logically. It is completely legal to burn books. It is not sensitive to burn the Muslims' holy book. It is legal to build a mosque at ground zero. It is not sensitive to desecrate the site of Americans who died there. I see a pattern and a compromise here. I say the pastor should offer to stop the burning if the Muslims stop the building. Fair enough?
