The new Overseers

I may be beating a dead horse.....but...... During a debate, the comment came up that empowering of the black people is not something any government program can do, it is something that blacks need to do for themselves; but that every time someone rises up to defend and empower blacks they end up dead. If it is true that every time a black leader rises up to empower the black population that person ends up dead......then what can be said about the Reverands Al and Jesse? These two are very much alive, they have become wealthy influential men in the black community, trusted by most blacks, but are they empowering the black community? Here is what I think of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson:

History, during the time of negro enslavement, leads to the conclusion that some of the worse treatment to black slaves was from black overseers. The white family couldn't be in the fields all the time, so they hired "trusted" blacks to see to it that the work got done, by whatever means necessary, including violent punitive action. The overseers were meant to keep the slaves under the thumb of the plantation owner, to keep them under control; he was meant to keep the slaves busy, never giving them time to foment a rebellion, to realize that they outnumbered the owners, and that the slaves had the power to control their own destiny; which they could have realized through education. In fact when some of the white abolitionists tried to educate blacks, by teaching them to read and/or write, they were turned in by black overseers.

The overseers were not above using whips and starvation to keep the slaves in line, placid, and uneducated. Basically the black overseers were meant to KEEP the slaves enslaved. Al and Jesse are the "trusted" blacks, nothing more than overseers, meant to continue the enslavement of the black community. And any black who doesn't toe the line will be, by force if necessary, brought back into line. This is the reason Clarence Thomas, Herman Cain, Mia Love, Tim Scott, Alan West, Thomas Sowell, and many other conservative blacks have taken such a beating; the overseers are not doing their job and are letting some blacks become too "uppity" as LBJ said.

Teachers unions: the new plantation owners

About 200 years ago, it was against the law to teach blacks how to read or write. White racists and plantation owners wanted their slaves to remain ignorant so the slaves could be controlled.  So the racist slave owners sought legal recourse to ensure black slaves could not be educated. Jump ahead 150 years to modern times, and the new plantations have once again refused to teach the blacks.  I find it appalling that the teachers unions have taken it upon themselves to ensure that black students are "dumbed down". How do they do it, after all we educate everyone in our public school system. We pay an exorbitant amount of taxpayer money to educate all children. So why do the illiteracy rates keep climbing? Why does the ignorance of history, geography, mathematics, science, civics and even current events keep getting deeper.

I am tired of the old haggard argument that it is because of the horrible home life students have, and they cannot be motivated to learn.   What a load of horse manure you are handing out.  During the worst oppression to them, black people were motivated to learn, to be informed, to be empowered.  Why is it that they could be motivated to learn while they were being threatened with physical harm (they were beaten if found reading), but today they do not even want to learn?  I am pretty sure the lack of motivation is not coming from the homes.  I know a lot of black people, and they want a better life for their kids, they want them to be educated, and many are trying desperately to find solutions to the public schools seeming lack of incentive to educate them.

Some of the worst educated people are coming out of the inner city public school systems.  When we send our kids to these schools, we are basically handing them over to a union-controlled plantation, where they are strapped to desks for days on end and forced to work, but are never actually educated.   As long as the unions keep ensuring the teachers are encouraged to spread mediocrity, there will continue to be no education in our education system.  How in the world can you expect kids to learn when you provide no incentive to them?

Now, I am not saying we should start whipping kids for reading to motivate them to learn, but lets at least allow them the opportunity to increase their desire to learn.  The current schools provide an atmosphere of discouraging excellence; do not do more than required, you will not be rewarded. And they spend minimal time on actually teaching the basics, all their time in the class room is mandated by the useless Federal Department of Education, with non-education, agenda-driven fluff: sex education, sensitivity training, self-actualization, socialistic indoctrination, self-esteem, and anti-American propaganda. All this creates in our kids the idea that they are owed something from the world, and they don't need to actually accomplish anything on their own to earn it.  And if by chance a child wants to do better than everyone else, they are provided negative reinforcement until they get over that desire.

Trust the schools?  I think not.  Trust the unions? Never. Trust the government? Puh-lease! For all three of these entities, the goal is to NOT educate the children, instead the goal is to keep them uneducated and slaves to the government.  The system has only gotten worse since the progressives have gotten control over it, and the people putting the underclass in chains is in reality the educators, who offer a free-of-charge system that doesn't educate anyone.

Racism on Parade

This is completely insane. Obama announcing he is forming a group called African Americans for Obama. How incensed would the left be if George Bush had formed WASPS for Bush. Their screams would still be echoing 3 years after leaving office.

Why is it racism in one case but not in another? Just saying.

Are Republicans or Democrats more racist?

We have seen the same thing coming from the national stage as well:

"At issue was a statement Gingrich made weeks earlier, that if invited to speak at the NAACP he would urge the African-American community to 'demand paychecks and not be satisfied with food stamps.' Mr. Williams—who works for Fox News—asked Mr. Gingrich if his use of such language wasn't 'intended to belittle the poor and racial minorities.' The modern day southern crackers, in the audience, roundly and rudely booed Williams. And none of the Republican candidates said anything against Gingrich’s racist characterization of the welfare issue, or, with the treatment of Mr. Williams by those in their base. Okay so what can be derived from these two articles, a couple of things. First that the race card is being used to undermine the conservative shift in this country. As much as the Democrats are loathe to admit it, that is exactly what is happening:

" Thus far in 2009, 40% of Americans interviewed in national Gallup Poll surveys describe their political views as conservative, 35% as moderate, and 21% as liberal. This poll was done in 2009, and the shift is continuing:

"The growth in the percentage of independents who lean Republican has been accompanied by an uptick in the proportion who describe their views as conservative. Currently, 36% of independents say they are conservative, up from 29% in 2006. My second hypothesis is much more sinister and telling. Race-bating is a Democratic tool. When a "hard-work" ethic is said to be racist than there is a racial undertone that the racial minorities are against hard work. Remember this is coming from the Democrats who have historically had "compassion" for the racial minorities.

Let me dig into this deeper. Juan Williams and Gwen Moore are both actually undermining the black population and showing their in-born racism through their question. What is happening here is the idea that all blacks are on food stamps. The only way Obama being called the "Food Stamp President" is a racist statement would be if the black population were the only recipients of food stamps. The fact is that blacks may make up a large percentage, but there is a sizable percentage of white poor also on food stamps.

What I am getting to here is to say the jump from the simple number to using the race card is the step at which the actual racism is happening. When Juan Williams and Gwen Moore call the Republicans out for being racist, the actual racism has taken place by themselves. Think about it. If I were to say that having a loud stereo is a characteristic of the black population, I have taken the racist step right there. For me to characterize noise ordinances as racist would mean that I have taken the racist step, not those who have voted for noise ordinances.

So to wrap this up, whenever you hear someone using the race card, ask yourself who is the actual racist...the defendant or the plaintiff?

Where is the ACLU?

One group that has been uncharacteristically silent in the midst of all these violation of our civil liberties is the ACLU. The motto from the ACLU website: The ACLU is our nation's guardian of liberty, working daily in courts, legislatures and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country.

So now the question remains how are they upholding the liberties of Americans? In their own words: The ACLU also works to extend rights to segments of our population that have traditionally been denied their rights, including people of color; women; lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender people; prisoners; and people with disabilities.

So basically they are more interested in special interests groups, and not the general public. They have no real concern with the liberties of the general public, they only care about their self-absorbed minority groups. And now with that minority (the progressives) in power, they are silent about the government abuse of our civil liberties. So much for another liberal, whiny, self-absorbed special interest group claiming all along to be protecting the people from the government. You would think that with all the groups that sprung up to help us against our previously Republican government, we would be protected against all government intrusion into our lives. NOT so, the liberals care nothing about protecting anyone from their buddies in the DC, they only care about their own special interests. HYPOCRISY, is running rampant, the ultimate bigots are those who claim to support the civil liberties of all citizens, and then turn a deaf ear on what is happening now. Eric Holder should be run out of town for saying he would never try a case where the defendant was white. That is racism, and the blacks are the perpetrators.

We are in deep doodoo! and it is the liberals who have the power to change things, but are the ones abusing the people. That is despotism! So where is the ACLU, they are standing behind the abusers and even applauding them. SHAME! It is time for you to apologize, and do your job, as stated on your website.
